By anchoring this first-floor remodel with crisp white cabinetry and bright quartz countertops, we established an elegant foundation that allows the custom red mosaic backsplash and vibrant quartz sink to take center stage. The result is a high-performance, open-concept culinary center that flows seamlessly into the dining and living areas, perfectly balancing timeless design with the homeowner's bold, personalized style.
A Bright, Timeless Canvas
The foundation of any great kitchen is its cabinetry and countertops. For this project, we wanted to create a bright, clean canvas that felt both modern and enduring. We achieved this by installing Wellborn Premier cabinetry in a crisp Bright White finish, paired with subtle Vicostone 'Icelake' quartz countertops. To elevate the classic white perimeter, we accented the cabinetry with Jeffrey Alexander 'Ella' hardware—featuring unique emerald-cut knobs in a brilliant polished nickel finish that catches the light beautifully.

What makes this kitchen truly exceptional is the homeowner's fearless use of color. To contrast the bright white cabinetry, we introduced striking splashes of red. A vibrant 'Maraschino' red Elkay Quartz Luxe sink serves as an unexpected and highly functional centerpiece in the cleanup zone, paired perfectly with a state-of-the-art Brizo Coltello articulating faucet. We carried this bold design choice to the walls, installing a custom Hirsch Glass red mosaic backsplash ('Argon Flash') behind the stainless steel pyramid hood and alongside the refrigerator nook, creating an incredible visual rhythm throughout the space.

A luxury kitchen must perform just as beautifully as it looks. We outfitted the cooking zone with a premium suite of GE Profile™ stainless steel appliances, highlighted by a sleek slide-in induction and convection range. To complete the first-floor transformation, we replaced the disconnected flooring with Shaw Floorte waterproof luxury vinyl plank in a warm, natural 'Sabbia' wood tone. Running this durable flooring continuously through the kitchen, dining area, and living room seamlessly united the spaces, creating an open, inviting environment perfect for entertaining guests or relaxing by the fire.

Hidden beneath is a powerful Insinkerator Evolution Pro 750 Garbage Disposal.
