When these repeat clients moved to Powhatan, they missed their previous Paragon master bath so much they asked us to build an exact replica. This comprehensive renovation also features a highly organized custom closet system with automatic lighting and a unique vintage-style kitchen designed for a busy, modern lifestyle.
It is the ultimate compliment when a client asks you to do it all over again. After moving from Midlothian to Powhatan, these homeowners found themselves missing the master retreat we had built for them previously. They asked us to recreate the magic in their new home, resulting in an exact replica of their beloved bathroom.
We installed a Schluter heated flooring system with a digital thermostat for year-round comfort. The wet area features a frameless glass shower enclosure with a bench seat and recessed niches, ensuring their new space felt just like the home they loved.
Custom Closet Design with Lighting and Organization
Beyond the bathroom, organization was a top priority for this master suite. We designed distinct his and hers dressing areas to maximize storage and ease. Her closet is a showstopper, featuring glass-door stacked cabinets and open shelving for easy visibility. A standout feature of this space is the automated lighting system. We installed sensors that activate the lights the moment you step inside, illuminating the porcelain-painted cabinetry and granite countertops without flipping a switch.
Vintage Kitchen Renovation for Modern Living
While the bathroom looked to the past project for inspiration, the kitchen required a fresh approach for a busy, modern lifestyle. The homeowners requested a vintage aesthetic, which we achieved using high-end cherry cabinetry with classic drawer fronts and a warm stain. Functionality was key, leading to a unique request: two microwaves. To ensure no one ever has to wait to heat up a meal, we integrated a custom configuration to house both appliances seamlessly alongside pro-style GE appliances.
