When these Midlothian homeowners decided it was time to update their living space, they wanted a design that was both highly functional and beautifully decorated. Our team was brought in to execute a comprehensive first-floor remodel that would completely refresh the heart of the home. The goal was to create a bright, airy environment with timeless finishes that could seamlessly handle both daily family life and elegant entertaining.

To set the foundation for this gorgeous glacier white kitchen, we selected Wellborn Premier Series cabinetry featuring the clean lines of the Prairie door style. The crisp white finish reflects natural light beautifully, instantly making the room feel larger and more inviting. To complement the bright cabinetry, we installed a stunning backsplash featuring Bianco Genesi wall tile, accented by a breathtaking Synergy Weave Arabescato polished focal tile above the range.

Long Kitchen Island Design with Champagne Bronze Accents

The true centerpiece of this renovation is the long kitchen island design. Designed to be both a visual anchor and a functional powerhouse, this elegant island provides expansive prep space and plenty of room for casual seating. We finished the island with Madison base moulding in matching glacier white, giving it the appearance of high-end, custom furniture. Because of its impressive scale and flawless finish, this island provides incredible options for portrait view photography, capturing the true elegance of the space.

To elevate the luxury feel, we incorporated high-end fixtures and appliances throughout the layout. The island houses a sleek Kohler Strive stainless steel under-mount sink, perfectly paired with a Delta Trinsic pull-down faucet in a trending champagne bronze finish. This warm metallic touch adds a sophisticated pop of color against the white cabinetry. We also integrated pro-style GE Profile appliances and a convenient U-LINE beverage center to ensure the kitchen performs just as beautifully as it looks.

Extending the Comfort: 3rd Floor Playroom Renovation

While the first floor received a sophisticated makeover, the homeowners also wanted to ensure their children had a dedicated, comfortable space of their own. This led to an exciting addition to the project scope: a complete 3rd floor playroom renovation.

To make this top-floor retreat as cozy and inviting as possible, we installed premium Shaw Platinum Texture Tonal carpet in the versatile shade of Aspen. We paired this plush flooring with a Hope Performance Cushion underlayment, which features moisture barrier protection to guard against spills and accidents. This thoughtful upgrade transformed the third floor into the perfect, worry-free play zone for the family.
