A Durable and Classic Siding and Window Upgrade
The heart of this transformation was the complete replacement of the home's siding with durable Hardie Plank. This high-performance siding provides a fresh, low-maintenance finish that will stand the test of time, giving the home a clean, new look. To complement the siding, we also installed new Majestic Shutters, adding a classic architectural detail that brought a refined touch to the facade.
The project also included a full window replacement. While the Jeldwen windows are no longer a brand we carry, the installation itself was a testament to our precision and quality craftsmanship, ensuring a tight, efficient seal and a seamless fit that enhanced both the look and energy performance of the home.
Architectural Details That Define the Entry
To create a more welcoming and elegant entrance, we built a custom front porch portico with a mortared brick wall. This new architectural feature not only adds significant curb appeal but also provides a sheltered entry that feels both grand and functional.
This remodel also extended into the backyard with the construction of a spacious 16' x 16' colonial-style shed. This new structure was designed to match the home's aesthetic, providing stylish and functional storage that seamlessly integrates with the rest of the property.
Groundwork for Lasting Appeal
Beyond the home itself, we completely revitalized the surrounding hardscape. The old driveway was replaced with a stunning mortared cobblestone driveway that adds a layer of rustic charm and incredible durability. This unique feature, along with a new patio landing at the sunroom entry, connects all the elements of the property and ensures a unified, finished look. The new Pella sunroom and garage entry doors were also installed to create a cohesive flow between the interior and the beautiful new exterior.
