Pairing custom stained cherry cabinetry with Silestone Calacatta Gold quartz and expansive marble-look tile, this first-floor remodel transforms an everyday bathroom into a warm, spa-inspired sanctuary. Complete with an accessible, frameless walk-in shower, built-in quartz seating, and state-of-the-art Delta HydroRain fixtures, this custom renovation delivers timeless beauty and effortless everyday functionality.
Warmth Meets Modern Luxury
The vision for this first-floor bathroom was to elevate the everyday routine into a luxurious, spa-like experience while maintaining a warm, inviting aesthetic. To achieve this, we anchored the room with rich, light-stained cherry cabinetry from Wellborn Premier, including a custom 93-inch tall linen cabinet that provides exceptional floor-to-ceiling storage. To contrast the warmth of the natural wood, we topped the vanity with sophisticated Silestone 'Eternal Calacatta Gold' quartz and paired it with Kohler Caxton rectangular undermount sinks and clean-lined Delta Trinsic stainless faucets.
A Spa-Inspired Walk-In Shower
The centerpiece of the remodel is an expansive, accessible walk-in shower designed for both indulgence and practical longevity. Framed by a Coral Industries heavy glass panel, the shower features Emser Vara marble-look porcelain wall tiles that extend all the way to the ceiling. Inside, a custom built-in bench and shower curb were capped in matching Calacatta Gold quartz, tying the entire room together. We added a custom recessed Schluter wall niche for streamlined storage and laid an Atlas Concorde herringbone mosaic on the shower floor to provide elegant visual texture and slip resistance.
High-Performance Comfort
Every fixture in this bathroom was selected to maximize comfort and usability. The shower is equipped with Delta's HydroRain multi-function system, which combines an overhead drenching spray with an integrated H2Okinetic hand shower for a completely customizable experience. We also integrated subtle accessibility features like a comfort-height Kohler toilet, soft-close cabinetry, and a stainless steel grab bar. These upgrades ensure the space performs beautifully and remains timeless for years to come.

Shower System: A spa-grade Delta Trinsic shower system featuring the multi-function HydroRain shower head with H2Okinetic technology, an In2ition hand shower with MagnaTite docking, and a sleek tile-in linear drain.
Shower Enclosure: Custom Coral Industries 'Summit' heavy glass enclosure featuring 3/8" tempered clear glass, a fixed-panel walk-in design with no door, and Brushed Nickel hardware.
Tile & Flooring: Emser Vara 'Ribia' 12x24 polished porcelain tile on the shower walls and matte porcelain tile on the bathroom floor, laid in a classic 1/3 horizontal stair-step pattern. The shower floor features an Atlas Concorde 'Fray Pearl' 1x3 herringbone mosaic, pointing toward the custom bench.
Lighting & Accessories: Park Harbor 'Leadwell' 3-light Brushed Nickel vanity fixtures with opal etched glass, paired with Delta Trinsic robe hooks and a strategically placed 24" stainless steel grab bar for enhanced accessibility.
