Bright White and Cape Blue Kitchen Featuring Silestone Quartz

From Cluttered and Dated to Bright and Open

Before the renovation, this Mechanicsville  kitchen felt dark and cluttered, hindered by standard oak-finished cabinetry and a lack of organized storage. The old desk area felt disconnected from the rest of the room, and the homeowners needed a layout that maximized their space while introducing a fresh, modern aesthetic. To completely transform the heart of the home, we replaced the dated finishes with a stunning two-tone design using Wellborn Premier Series cabinetry featuring the clean, transitional Hanover door style.

Custom Storage and Two-Tone Cabinetry

To solve the storage issues, we installed a massive, floor-to-ceiling pantry wall equipped with convenient pull-out drawers, erasing countertop clutter for good. The perimeter cabinets and this new pantry wall were finished in a crisp Bright White. To create a beautiful visual contrast, the center island and the newly integrated desk area were finished in a rich blue color called Cape. We accented all the cabinetry with Top Knobs Ascendra and Coddington pulls in a warm Honey Bronze finish.

Seamless Silestone Quartz

The true showstopper of this kitchen update is the seamless use of premium stone. We installed gorgeous Silestone Ethereal Dusk quartz countertops featuring a clean, eased edge. To elevate the luxury of the space, we took that same Ethereal Dusk quartz and ran it up the walls to create a stunning full-height backsplash along the cooking wall, sink wall, and desk area. This grout-free finish is both breathtaking and incredibly easy to maintain.

Elegant Fixtures and Fresh Flooring

Functionality meets elegance at the sink station, which features a deep Ruvati Gravena 33-inch undermount stainless steel sink paired with a Delta Lenta pull-down faucet in Champagne Bronze. Above the island, two Quoizel Callahan mini pendants in an Aged Brass finish provide perfect task lighting , complemented by new Tamlite Slim Disk LED wafers in the ceiling and Task Lighting LED strips under the cabinets. Finally, to tie the whole bright aesthetic together, we replaced the old dark floors with durable Shaw COREtec Pro Classics luxury vinyl plank in the beautiful, light shade of Quincy Oak.
