Recognized as a 2024 Merit Winner for Creative Solutions, this project features a hidden Murphy bed seamlessly integrated into beautiful custom cabinetry, delivering a supreme gaming experience without sacrificing versatile living space.
Every Gamer's Dream
The homeowners wanted a dedicated, immersive gaming room but could not afford to lose a functional guest bedroom. Our design-build team was tasked with creating a space that served both needs without compromise, leading to a supreme setup that truly is every gamer's dream. We designed a dark, cinematic backdrop complete with ample floor space for a gaming desk, ergonomic chair, and massive TV screen.
Award-Winning Creative Solutions
Earning a 2024 Merit Winner award, the standout feature of this room is the custom-built cabinetry wall. To the naked eye, it appears as a sleek, high-end storage unit equipped with illuminated glass display shelves. However, the center panels easily pull down to reveal a comfortable, full-sized Murphy bed completely hidden within the beautiful millwork.
Form Meets Function
When the bed is closed, the room boasts maximum floor space, allowing the homeowners to fully enjoy their gaming sanctuary. When friends or family stay over, the Murphy bed deploys effortlessly, instantly transforming the ultimate entertainment zone into a cozy, welcoming retreat. It is a textbook example of how creative carpentry can maximize the square footage of your home.
